As a clinical social worker, graduating from Wayne State University with my Masters in 2002, I have worked in many areas of the field. My experience includes residential treatment, hospice, private practice, case management, crisis intervention in a hospital Level 1 trauma unit, substance abuse intervention/treatment placement, and hospital/ER psychiatric evaluations/treatment/placement. Currently I provide individual therapy and life coaching to individuals ages 15 - adults.
I'm a mother of 3 who has been married since 2004, and I understand what it's like to be on both sides of the therapeutic process. I too have experienced the triumphs and trials that make up our unique journeys. I feel that my own journey has lead me to be a realistic practitioner who thrives on achieving healthy/sensible outcomes.
I focus on providing quality, results oriented counseling services to individuals and family’s. I assist with anxiety, depression, grief, marriage, parenting, work stress, and more. I use well-researched approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Working alongside you, we can identify the repetitive stresses that are clouding your way. Then exploring and plotting a new route that will allow you to move forward to being the person, the friend, the leader you are capable of becoming.

For private pay patients, intake sessions are $200 and include a diagnosis and treatment plan. All other sessions are $165, and I am currently only accepting private pay clients at this time. I can provide a receipt if your insurance allows you to see out of network providers, and you can use an HSA account.
All sessions are 50 minutes.
Therapy does not necessarily need to involve years of commitment and many times results can been seen in as little as 3-4 sessions. However it is dependent on your unique situation and varies. The more work you put in outside and during our sessions, the quicker results are seen.
I will NOT discuss your sessions with anyone else (HIPPA compliant), so feel free to talk about anything on your mind without fear. What you say will be kept strictly confidential between you and me, except for the following:
